Only plays default notification with sick beard but plays the notification i picked with everything else. I looked in SickBeard and only stock sounds there. No system notifications so im stuck with a tone I don't want. 1 start till fixed.
Best invention since warm water As opposed to the competition: it doesn't assume I'm an idiot, doesn't require all the suspect permissions and I know how the author makes money. All this tipped the balance for me as opposed to the otherwise similar option.
Not goof It keeps disabling itself. I am missing out on important information and I'm very upset. It worked just fine during trial but as soon as I paid it didnt act right. Please fix as I am missing out on money
Still new to the app but not as good as NMA This app is far reaching to the point that it complicates what it does and breaks features that should be bulletproof. Why it forces the client app to download tones is beyond comprehension. Someone is an a$$hole forcing me to use their canned tones. Comparing to my daily driver NotifyMyAndroid (NMA) which does Android only, simply and well. Pushover works on Windows/IOS/Android. I just need good functionality on Android. I am using with Homeseer, home automation software that has a plugin for this app. Just sent an emergency test notification using device chosen tones and the notification arrived silent so I had no idea it had arrived. That is a bit scary. A resend of the event caused the proper screaming loud alert. Time will tell if I miss important events as I move away from NMA and more onto PO, but this is a bad start.
This is great I have my raspberry pi 2 sending me notifications from a bash script when it needs to notify me. This is very cool, easy to set up, light weight because it just uses curl. Obviously well thought out and very secure to boot.
Excellent for pushing custom notifications to your phone I wrote a function in MATLAB that uses Pushover to notify me when my simulations complete. The API and app are designed very well.
- Add support for subscriptions allowing you to easily and securely subscribe to notifications without giving out your user key, and later unsubscribe from those notifications from within the Pushover app
- Add support for limited HTML text styling in messages (bold, italic, color, etc.)
- Fix "play high priority alerts through alarm channel" functionality to stop playing sound as soon as notification is dismissed or acknowledged
- Minor bugfixes and performance improvements
