About this app

Mobi is TechLink Services' mobile application for field technicians and clients. It puts the power and flexibility of TechLink Services' SIMPL portal into the palm of your hand. Feature rich and flexible, you can use Mobi to do everything you already do with the SIMPL portal.

Field Technicians

· Sign up as a new field technician
· View and access your jobs for today
· View and access your jobs for the next 7 days
· Open Maps directly from Mobi to get driving directions to the site
· Log on and off of site
· Access all information about work order including documents and close-out paperwork
· Photos can be taken directly from Mobi automatically uploading to the work order
· Add completed paperwork directly to the work order

Ratings and reviews

Can't review old work orders, can't invoice in app, don't have the option to choose an external reader for documents without opening them in app first. Can't put in a counter offer or message on available work orders. Can't even check in, I have to call in, and more often than not, talk with 2 people before I can be shown on site. I've used this app for a couple years now because I was told it was simpler than bringing up the website, but I have to pull it up half the time anyways.

This app is truly terrible; barely usable. I can't scroll up and down without it paging left or right, clearly not field tested. Dispatch does not follow the pay structure listed in Work orders. I've been told more than once that 1x70 is for 1.5 hours, when it usually would mean 70 for 1 hour, so the usage is deceptively different from what one would generally understand. No way to counter offer, offer your own terms, or to clarify terms other than calling, defeating the purpose of the app.

I use both the android app and the iphone app and both are pretty good although they each have their problems. I read somebody else had this problem in the reviews; I can't scroll up or down without the app paging left or right. Well, I can if I'm careful- it's like there's a tiny band in the middle of the screen where it will work but it makes things WAY difficult. Otherwise works as it should.
