About this app

Tyflocentre is an accessible Android app that brings together content from the TyfloPodcast and TyfloŚwiat ecosystems in one place. It allows you to conveniently browse news, articles, and podcasts, listen to Tyfloradio, read comments, use your favorites, and send text and voice messages to the TyfloRadio team.

The app was developed with a strong emphasis on accessibility. It supports TalkBack, features logical navigation, clear labels, user-friendly forms, and features that facilitate use by visually impaired users and users of other assistive technologies.

In Tyflocentrum, you can:

- read news and articles in a neat, user-friendly view,
- browse podcasts and instantly open them in the player,
- listen to Tyfloradio live,
- use system podcast playback controls,
- stream radio and podcasts to Google Cast-compatible devices,
- resume listening from where you left off,
- use timestamps and links in audio content,
- read comments on shows in threaded format,
- add content to favorites and quickly return to them,
- browse TyfloŚwiat issues and tables of contents,
- contact Tyfloradio via text or voice message.

Tyflocentrum does not require logging in or creating an account. Basic reading and listening functions are available immediately after launching the app. The microphone is only used when the user chooses to send a voice message.

Ta wersja skupia się na dostępności dla czytników ekranu.

• Pola i przyciski w całej aplikacji są teraz poprawnie odczytywane przez czytniki ekranu — zarówno TalkBack, jak i Jeshuo. Wcześniej część etykiet (np. pól kontaktu, głosówki, komentarzy) była pomijana przez Jeshuo.
• Tyfloradio na żywo: czytnik nie odczytuje już w kółko elementu pod palcem podczas słuchania.
