About this app

Ummap is a map of masjids in Uzbekistan, built and checked by the people who pray in them.

Open it and you see what is near you. Tap a place for directions in Yandex Navi, Google Maps or 2GIS. No account, no sign-up, no ads.

What makes it different is that the details are verified on site. Anyone can say a masjid has a wudu area; on Ummap somebody stood there and confirmed it. Every fact carries the marks of how it was checked, and anything unconfirmed says so plainly rather than pretending to be certain.

BUILT ON TRUST
• Contributions are confirmed on site, not typed in from home
• Photographs are of places, never of people
• Location is used while you are using the app, never in the background
• No leaderboards. Being credited by name is optional and off by default
• Delete your account at any time, from inside the app

Ummap is a sadaqah jariyah: what you record helps the next traveller find a place to pray long after you have moved on.
