RockBot is a robot soldier fighting to protect humans from renegate bots.
A game freely inspired by old classic 8-bit jump-and-shoot games style, with some modern features.

Assets are original, and ressemblance to other apps or games, is just coincidence or a form of tribute to vintage games.
Sprites are from Iuri, Surt and Boberatu.
Tilesets are from opengameart, Surt, average-hanzo and Iuri.
Music is original from modarchive and Simone Bernacchia.
Sound effects are original, created with BFXR.

When I dash or slide often(which are great travel skills) the game freezes completely. I know you're working on Project Firefly and all, but it'd be great if you fix this. (Also this occurs every stage I go to. I went back to an older version of the game where it didn't have this problem at all.)

That is very odd. I finished the game on my mobile phone and got nothing like that. Maybe it is realted to Android 16 Beta you are using; sadly I do not have any device with that version to test - and using emulators is not very good, but I will give a try.

this game is very lovely and fun, the section which used to crash for me on valkyrie bot's stage doesn't crash anymore and so the game has earned the 5th star, i'm glad that the crash is gone.

Hey man, I put a new release, after the one from yesterday had some issues. I hope this fixes your problem, but it is possible it adds others I do not know yet, because some changes to try t fix problems, were really big, and might cause others >.<

Been playing the original game and it's sequel for a while now, watching it slowly become a shell of it's former self to the point were the first fortress boss of this game can't be defeated it's extremely disappointing. The games are fun they just needed improvements on the things they already have. Instead the game is copying so many styles and has barely evolved in quality and even get worse in aspects is genuinely painful to watch burn. I cannot believe 15 years of effort turned into this.
