About this game

Hephaestus Forge is a razor-sharp rhythm timing game inspired by Greek myth. You are Hephaestus, smith of the gods, working an anvil line where glowing workpieces slide past from right to left. Tap to swing the hammer — but a strike only rings true while a piece glows inside the golden strike zone. Time every blow, finish each piece, and stoke the FORGE meter with sparks.

The line never stops. A swing at empty iron wastes the fire's heat, and any piece that slips past the zone unfinished plunges into the quench barrel, ruined. Later work needs two, then three true strikes, and the anvil line runs ever faster. When the FORGE meter empties, the fire is QUENCHED.

Spend your ingots in the Smithy on sacred gear: the Bronze Apron absorbs one ruined workpiece, the Golden Bellows double your ingot harvest, the Ember Trance slows the passing work, and Hephaestus Favor rekindles the fire when it dies.
