The app works, in the most rudimentary ways. Other than reaching temp of the smoker, the alarms are almost non existent. It doesn't notify you of an error. Setting temps can be touchy and not take, a few times in a row. Make sure you check on the smoker visually and don't rely on this app.

The App fails at EVERYTHING it's supposed to do. Connecting to WiFi is dicey and when you are finally able to connect, it'll drop the connection after a short time. Tried to register my grill using the App, the menu item for uploading your receipt doesn't work at all. Every time you switch to another app it clears all your data, making filling out forms impossible. I couldn't even create a Nexgrill account at all. I was able to create an account at the website, the app...no dice.

Same experience as others: app flashes/crashes multiple times before you can select your grill and get started. Continues to crash throughout the cook. Extremally unstable. I lost the grill connection weeks ago and the app can't find it again even though its connected to both Bluetooth and WiFi. Nexgrill support: stop with the BS "we'll take a look into this for you" response. Thats not going to help and you know it. FIX.THE.APP.
