About this app

The doctor-developed smart companion that makes living with Crohn’s & Ulcerative Colitis easier.

Living with Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis can feel unpredictable, overwhelming, and exhausting. My IBD Care is a doctor-developed app designed to help you understand what’s going on, manage day-to-day challenges, and feel more confident living life on your terms.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, navigating a flare, or staying well in remission, My IBD Care gives you practical tools, trusted guidance, and reassurance – all in one place.

A SMARTER WAY TO LIVE WITH IBD

My IBD Care helps you:

• Connect the dots between sleep, stress, activity, and symptoms
• Learn practical ways to manage everyday life with Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis

A crucial part of My IBD Care is ElenaAI – your personal guide through life with Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis. She helps interpret your data, make sense of what’s happening, and gently guide you towards what to do next – so you don’t have to navigate things alone.

WHAT’S IN THE APP?

• Personalised support, powered by ElenaAI: non-medical guidance day or night. Understand patterns in your data, prepare for appointments, and feel reassured when things feel uncertain.

• Symptom and wellbeing tracking: track flares, bowel movements, pain, mood, sleep, stress, and more – all in one place.

• Medication and appointment support:
Stay on top of medications, reminders, appointments, and tests.

• Expert-led courses: practical, condition-specific courses covering sleep, medication, mental wellbeing, physical activity, and living with symptoms – created by clinicians and people who understand life with IBD.

• Library and trusted resources: clinically reviewed content from the NHS, Crohn’s & Colitis UK, and other trusted sources.

Like the new app. Much easier to use and great for tracking symptoms. The one thing I would like to see added is a food diary. Right now I'm having to use a separate app to track what I'm eating to try and find trigger foods and compare them with symptoms on two different apps. It would be a lot easier to see days where my symptoms were worse and be able to compare what foods were eaten in the past days or even have data saying when you eat X food your symptoms seem to get worse.

Hi Devon, Thanks so much for your feedback and for your suggestion regarding a food diary! We will take this into consideration for future updates to the app. In the meantime, we suggest using the Notes section of the app to track anything you would like to! Let us know if you have any additional feedback for us at info@ampersandhealth.co.uk.

It has worked well enough for basic entries, however, on phones such as Google Pixel 10 Pro, the full screen makes it impossible to complete the questionnaires as the button is so low on the screen and cannot be selected, same thing with returning to the main screen from the questionnaire. There's no option to not have to sign in every single time, even momentarily leaving the app and returning forces one to re-sign in. If the developer fixed these issues, I'd be more inclined to use the app

Crashes after the latest update. Was a useful tool for my IBD, worked well and was helpful, but the latest update means it force closes every time you open the app. Tried installing uninstalling, hasn't fixed the problem. will need to find another app to use. Also developers need to add a food diary tracker, would make the app great. The notes section isn't very user friendly for large amounts of text and scrolling down to months ago etc. People been asking for this for many years
