- Will the exam have the same questions as in the application?
Yes, the questions fully correspond to the GIMS EMERCOM question database. We constantly monitor updates and edit questions in case of any changes in the GIMS database.

- Why are there errors in some questions?
Unfortunately, there are still some errors/inaccuracies in the GIMS EMERCOM testing. If you are sure that we have an error or inaccuracy, please let us know via the feedback form.

- Why are there the same questions in different blocks?
The questions in the GIMS EMERCOM testing overlap between blocks, this is absolutely normal, since some rules, for example, "Fire prevention" do not differ much from the types of vessels.

- How is the GIMS exam conducted in 2025?
From 01.03.2022, the GIMS exam format has changed. Now the theoretical exam is taken on an automated system (computer). The question database is common among all regions. The examinee's ticket is generated using a computer. The questions in the ticket will only be from the lists of selected regions and types of vessels.
