Ratings and reviews

Positive: No ads! That would be so annoying when you're trying to read. Also, the settings are adjustable to you can change the font and scrolling ability, which I did right away Constructive Feedback: When I first downloaded this, the vertical scrolling wasn't enabled yet, and there was a design flaw that blocked a full line at the bottom. Also, I haven't found an audio option, so I don't think there is one

I loved this app at first. The NIV Bible on my phone, with the ability to do searches, use comparative translations, and take notes. Unfortunately, with the this latest update, it's become positively useless. Of what use is a Bible app, when it takes over an hour to open a previously downloaded Bible on a fast phone? That's just ridiculous. Despite the nice interface and ability to download so many public domain Bible translations, it's completely useless if you can't even open them.

It used to be a great app, easy to use and read anywhere. Since the upgrade to allow use of audio books, it works very poorly. I have an older Samsung phone. (Samsung Galaxy J1. Android version 5.1.1) I can't get the letters and numbers (footnotes) to open anymore as I read the text. After about a chapter or 2 of reading, I can no longer advance to the next page. It won't even allow me to select a new verse correctly to get to the next page. The bookmarks are not working consistently. All in all, it is frustrating and very inconsistent. PLEASE FIX THE BUGS that the update created!!!
