About this app

AET Europe created the ConsentID Authentication Service to empower smartphone and tablet users in mobile multifactor authentication and digital signing ensuring high privacy protection. The ConsentID app enables easy and secure access to applications anytime and anywhere, taking full advantage of mobile authentication.
The ConsentID app is used with a ConsentID server. During enrollment a soft certificate will be stored on your mobile phone or tablet. This solution adds multifactor authentication functionality to all Android Smartphones and Tablets.

When opening the app first thing that shows is a generic android logo (green robot head) then the app looks normal. That gives a very sketchy feel, like someone hacked the app. Is this a known issue?

This is a very bad application from a user point of view. Even worst, the Serbian government IT branch "instructions" for its use are totally misleading or incomprehensible, leaves impression that those in charge of this there have not passed beyond the basic primary school IT training level. Not recommended for use, unless you have absolutely no choice.

Backward app, only used because forced by government. It is not like industry standards, like google or Ms authenticator. There is just a pin code which doesn't have any relation to your pin code if you are using it, there is no integration with other options like fingerprint or pattern, yet another app you need to remember the pin.
