This app from Ambulance Care Netherlands has been developed for use by trained (ambulance) care professionals to provide ambulance care on behalf of the medical managers (doctors) of the Regional Ambulance Care Facility for which they work, within the legal and sectoral frameworks of regular ambulance care in the Netherlands.
Disclaimer: Others than the stated target group should not use the app. They are not allowed to make (medical) decisions or perform actions based on this app. They should turn to a doctor or general practitioner for medical advice and to the emergency number 112.
Users can consult the National Protocol for Ambulance Care (LPA), the National Protocol for Low and Medium Complex Ambulance Care (LPLMA), the document 'Processes in Ambulance Care' and Connection Schedules C2000. The app can display both the national protocol and a regional protocol for LPA. The user must then set the correct region. Users can also make notes on the information at different levels and set favorites. The app gives the user access to news items and publications from Ambulancezorg Nederland and relevant other publications. If desired, users can be alerted to a new news item by means of a push notification. Adjustments in the app after the release of the app are listed in the version management.
