App4Talent
App4Talent provides insight into talents and qualities of students. With this application, students can easily record practical assignments in a digital portfolio. By means of photo and video images, students can make their practical experiences visible to their teacher. Teachers can check and evaluate student assignments in real time. In this way, the teacher always has an overview of the students' development. The teacher evaluates and grades student assignments through his own inbox. In this way, the teacher can monitor and keep track of the development of the students. The teacher can also prepare assignments for the students remotely. The students are sent these assignments to their app.
Learning lines
During the practical assignments, the student demonstrates that he has competences or other learning pathways can be worked on. The progress of these competencies/learning pathways is updated by the teacher in App4Talent and is visible to the student at any time. The teacher indicates the progress of the competence/learning line during the assessment of the assignments. In this way, the student is able to direct his learning process to the learning areas that require extra attention. Teaching material can be offered specifically for each student, so that tailor-made learning paths can be provided.
Portfolio
Because the student collects evidence of his practical progress, a portfolio is created. The student can decide for himself which pieces of evidence he wants to provide insight into. These can be supplemented with a self-presentation and recommendations from, for example, the employer. The profile page can be used by a student to request an exam or for job applications.
The teacher
App4Talent makes it possible for a teacher to have insight into the progress of his students at any time. The teacher can offer assignments at individual and group level and direct the learning process.
