Very effective, easy to use, and customizable. Does not contain pictures, only text. This makes it unusable for those who can't read. However, I prefer this app over the ones with pictures. As an adult who can read, the others typically seem geared towards children, and have phrases/ words that center on children's needs. I appreciate that I can add my own words, and that it has complete phrases in addition to the words. This is my go to app for the times when I am nonverbal. It's also free!

I never know when I may be non-verbal. Gone are the days when I would sift through tapes and cassettes for the right message, scrubbing through to get my point across. And while I might see such a thing through a sickly layer of nostalgia, the reality of being non-verbal is not nearly so forgiving. This app helps get the point across when I struggle with words. Saving phrases for later and sorting words to queue up when further explanation is necessary. Finding the voice engine and settings is crucial for intelligibility in stressful situations. I would recommend this to a friend in need.

Great app. Have a week or so of vocal rest and liked the app enough to pay to upgrade. Couple of things tho: I have noticed it sort of supports SSML.. a lot of the google TTS SSML doesn't work. Do you have a list of things supported? Could you add SSML features (pauses and emphasis) into the app interface to be able to make phrases sound less robotic and more natural? Could you add some hot buttons for MP3 sound bites? I like the "Notification" option.. but being able to add a bunch of easily playable sound bites would be perfect. The app is almost there... these things would flesh it out some more. Great job, guys! PS: one other thing.. love that I can edit on the computer and restore the file! PPS: How about a backup option for *all* the settings in the app?
