About this app

The iTrain 6.0 remote is an App to control your trains. It connects as a client to the desktop application iTrain 6.0, that needs to be in Server mode. The App cannot be used stand-alone. It will automatically try find a server on the network and if it cannot find it, the screen remains empty and a login dialog will appear. You need to enter a server name or address and you can leave the master password empty and press OK.

You can always press the Info icon (with the i) on the toolbar to get more information about the connected server. Pressing again on the same Info icon in this view will show the login dialog again.

When connected to a server, the first screen is a list of available locomotives. If you select one you go to a detail view of the locomotive in which you can change speed and direction and control functions. In addition you can start, finish and stop routes.

For manual control there are + and - buttons to reserve a block and to cancel the reservation

In addition there is a world icon to go to the switchboard to control turnouts and signals and see what is happening in the layout.

What’s new

It is possible now to login explicitly via a dialog by typing in a server. This dialog will appear if no server can be found. This dialog can also be opened if you want to switch the server later.
