Bscan monitors bank accounts and alerts you to transactions that do not fit the usual pattern. An amount that deviates, a transfer to someone who has never been there before, withdrawals that suddenly occur more frequently.
For families and informal caregivers
Your mother, father, or partner no longer manages their own banking. Perhaps you live far away, or you handle the banking yourself and want to prevent someone else from taking advantage of the situation. Bscan shows you what happens when you are not present.
For administrators, mentors, and other supervisors
Do you professionally supervise clients' accounts? Then you will see the notifications for all your clients in a single list, as well as the accounts, expenses, and contra accounts for each client. This allows you to see early on what needs attention, even on accounts over which you only have partial control. What the app does
• Notifications for suspicious transactions, with an explanation of why the transaction stood out
• Handle a notification and add a note
• Overview of the account, expenses per month and per group
• See per counter account who receives money and how often
• Manage multiple clients, with all notifications in one overview
• Notifications also sent via email to other family members, if they confirm this themselves
• Push notifications on your phone
How it works
You link the account once with your own bank, via a secure connection (Open Banking). Bscan then reads the account multiple times a day. Bscan can only monitor: payments or money transfers are not possible.
Monitoring with permission, never secretly
Monitoring is only possible with the permission of the person whose account it is. They are aware of it and can stop it at any time. If there is a power of attorney, the authorized representative can grant that permission.
What Bscan does not do
• No accusation. A signal is not proof; usually there is a standard explanation, and then you know that too. • No blocking. No payments are withheld and no cards are blocked.
• No reporting point. Nothing is automatically sent to the bank, the municipality, or Veilig Thuis.
• No replacement for guardianship. You do not need to go to court, and there is no change regarding who is responsible for what.
