Quickly and safely arrange your healthcare affairs in your De Friesland app

Register once via DigiD and then log in securely with your chosen access code. You can view the app in Dutch or English.

See quickly:
- how you are insured. And who is co-insured with you.
- your reimbursements.
- healthcare costs you incurred and what we reimbursed.
- how much deductible you have left.

Easily arrange things yourself:
- your claims. Take a photo and send it in. The money will be in your account within 2 working days.
- your authorisation for transport.

Chat:
- with our colleagues using the chatfunction. Response within 10 minutes during office hours.

Disappointing app. The shiny exterior hides the outdated process. There is no status shown for declarations. Instead of showing "being processed", the only thing you can see is the document you uploaded. Then, 2,5 weeks later, you get a physical letter stating why a declaration is denied. This sucks, since most bills need to be paid within 2 weeks. Also: the app shows "open bills" and asks you to pay with ideal, even if you have your costs set to automatic collection.

Hi Emily. Thank you for your message. How strange that you have to wait a while. When declarations are made with the App, your money will be in your account within 3 working days. You can pay with Ideal if you do not want to wait for the direct debit. If you ask us for help, we are happy to do so.

Before the update it was very easy to upload declarations with the in-app camera. The new app however rejects my pictures AND the in-app camera tells me it doesn't see a document when I'm pointing the camera directly at the #@*% DOCUMENT. Wasted loads of time on calling helpdesk, reinstalling the darn app just for the same thing to happen again and eventually having to use the website. Stain on my day!

What a nightmare. It crashes when you open it, when you try to upload docs, or when you try to view them. I don't know if it's because of this last update but it took me about an hour to upload a few pictures! Complete rubbish.

Hello Ewa, that doesn't sound good. I would like to help you make the App work properly. First you can give us your feedback in the top right of the App. Then we can better help you find out why uploading takes a long time. Of course you can always contact us during office hours on 058 291 31 31

What's new

We have made some minor improvements. After being logged out of the app, you are no longer automatically logged in after using facial recognition. We no longer ask you to rate the app after every claim. We’ve improved our tips on how to take a better photo of your bill.

We update our app regularly. Turn on automatic app updates in your phone’s settings.
