About this app
Discover hundreds of beautiful recreational walking routes in the Netherlands: Long Distance Walks, Regional Paths, NS Walks, Forest Guard Paths, theme route or use the walking route planner to plan or load your own route.
Walks
There are hundreds of marked routes in the app:
· All official Long Distance Hiking Trails and Regional Trails (from Wandelnet & Nivon, but also some routes from KWBN and regional partners). These are multi-day routes.
Day hikes such as the NS walks, public transportation, theme routes and the forest ranger paths of Staatsbosbeheer.
Route in the app can be used offline: no internet is required to use the routes in the app
Walking route planner
You can also plan a route yourself or use the unique code to load a route that is already planned on Wandelnet.nl. You can in the planner:
· Free planning on all hiking trails
· Plan a route over the available walking networks (junctions / choice points): South Holland, North Holland, Het Groene Hart (Utrecht), Lunteren, Achterhoek (Gelderland) and De Wolden (Drenthe).
· Load routes made on Wandelnet.nl (own routes or routes of others).
N.B. not all regions authorize the use of their walking network in the planner, so it is possible that your region is missing while there is a walking network.
