Sadly very buggy. I asked around and looked into it, the bugs have not been fixed for years. Apparently the app has been developped for Apple only, causing issues on Android phones. Sad, as people miss a lot of content that is not available through other souces. This also misses out on reaching newer generations that use their phone for more information on art pieces.

it gave me nothing but errors, nothing would work. I particularly wanted to hear Simon Schama's descriptions in the Birds exhibit, so I'm disappointed I missed that. Looking at the reviews, this has been going on for years. How can a top museum not invest in fixing their app? Is it a ploy to get people to buy an audiotour device?

this app really is pretty much of a hot mess! the tours are poorly designed and do not flow progressively. There are numerous pieces with codes that do not work. The 'see other image' feature does not work (when prompted by the audio). Worst of all, the app crashes CONSTANTLY requiring a reboot. In addition to this terrible app, the museum itself - albeit with a fantastic collection - is fraught with lighting issues which cast shadows and reflections on the majority of the pieces. Big bummer!
