Mob.id is the new generation of mobile identity. It reads and verifies the NFC chip embedded in electronic passports. Mob.id uses several methods to arrange verification:
OCR – for the ID card or Passport photo
NFC – to extract chip data
Liveness detection – to verify the presence of a document owner.
The app verifies passport authenticity, relying on the e-signature of the identity document validated through NFC with the help of 300+ public certificates.
Mob.id uses the best practices of secure authentication. We verify a user's encrypted personal data through the Public Key Directory. It allows you to keep your information safe while still providing a fast & secure experience on-the-go.
