Introducing Guess the Spot: A geographic trivia tour around the world.

Take a virtual Geoguess tour, from big cities in the US to the Australian outback, from the fjords in Norway to the tip of South Africa. And maybe even Antartica.

Each round we show you a set of 5 panoramic views in the category you picked. Have a look, roam the streets, and when you’re ready… take a guess. The closer you guess, the more points you get! Pick a continent, country or one of the theme packs. Brave enough? How about "The World" as your playground?

Take your time or do a speed run, by yourself or in a challenge with friends or strangers, and work your way up the leaderboards.

Ratings and reviews

I love trying to guess where you are, it's ideal for people who love maps and travel! I like the fact there is an option to play without time limit and the fact that you can pause the game and return to it. However there are a couple of issues that if improved would make this 5*. It would be much better if the map returned to the last place you left it when opening to guess so you can hone in on the exact spot. Second, the guess button overlaps my phone's notification bar so it's hard to hit.

Update! I was finally able to open the app after many weeks of communication with the developer who by the way was very helpful. I had to clear the cache and data in the settings. For android go to settings...apps..Guess The Spot... cache and clear it as well as Data. So happy I can now play! I love this app. It keeps my brain active and I love searching for the spot.

This is genuinely the best option for free geoguesser: full functionality, challenges, only 1 ad before every round, and only 89 pence a month to remove that ad. Genuinely very good
