Join Daan Schuurmans and discover the history of
The Netherlands. In 18 walks through the city and country he tells you everything about it

Compatibility
- You download the app and you can hit the road straight away. You have an account
not necessary. No mobile data either, because you can already plan the routes at home
download to your phone. Your GPS will take care of the rest.

Functionalities
- Each walk follows an episode of the television series Het
story of the Netherlands. You can simply walk the routes without the
series to see. Would you like more background information about the
walk? For each route you will find a link with which you can find the corresponding route
episode can be seen on NPO Start.
- The app has a list view of all routes. Would you rather watch it?
a map? The map view shows you which routes are near you
be nearby. Or use the built-in suggestions for your choice.
- The screen is designed so that you can easily read it outdoors. Also

Technical information
- The app uses your GPS location and the routes are from
to download in advance. If you do that you will have no WiFi or mobile
network required during the route. You just have to start
and put the phone in your pocket.
- The GPS and audio data can be deleted in the app so that you can
can free up space on your phone.

Ratings and reviews

This is amazing, but why not an English version? Foreigners like me are also so interested in this experience :(

Very nice to learn something about the environment during a walk.

Het idee is wel leuk, maar na het lopen van de podwalk Hattem heb ik twee opmerkingen: - Bereiken van een waypoint wordt niet altijd herkend, waardoor het idee van de telefoon in je zak kunnen houden teniet gedaan wordt. - Ik vond de hoeveelheid verhaal weinig in verhouding tot de hoeveelheid lopen. Als je constant wat te luisteren wilt hebben, kun je beter een luisterboek of normale podcast pakken.
