For UCI mass start and World Triathlon draft-legal competitions, there are restrictions to what kind of wheels can be used. Checking wheels as part of the registration process before draft-legal races can be difficult and time-consuming. It requires 2 UCI wheel catalogues with more than 72 pages, totaling over 2000 wheel brands and types to choose from. This app offers a search engine to browse through both lists using the imprint on a wheel you want to check.
From the start screen you can enter the wheel imprint (or any part of it), and it will return a list of all wheels that meet your search criteria. You can choose to see only the manufacturer and wheel type, or also include the rim height and number of spokes for that particular wheel.
As a bonus the app will list the actual UCI and World Triathlon rules regarding the use of wheels in all different types of competition. You can also find the list and related rules of approved, unusual bike frames that are allowed during draft-illegal triathlon competitions.
