About this app

With the Plantsome app you never have to worry about your plants again. Search for your plant in our database (we're here to help if you don't know the name of your plant), fill in some details like the height and how many hours of sunlight the plant receives. Combined with the local weather forecast the app calculates when your plant would like some water again, and how much. You'll receive a notification on this day, at the time of your choosing.

- Receive accurate notifications when your plants need water or nutrition
- Never wonder anymore how much water your plants might need, the app will tell you
- Check previous notifications in the calendar and keep check if you've actually watered your plants
- Add as much plants as you wish and give them a fun nickname
- Simply remove a plant if you don't wish to receive notifications anymore
- Choose which days of the week you'd like to receive notifications (with a minimum of 2), the algorithm will adapt itself to your choices.
- The app uses the temperature and expected cloud cover from the local weather forecast to make accurate predictions
- A unique algorithm calculates the water and nutrition requirements for every specific plant
- Expertise and knowledge from Dutch growers has been used to create the algorithm

Great features... If they would work... I'm being generous giving 4 stars bc it still needs help. Can't change settings - just get a blank white page and app freezes. Same with notes. You can create one but if you try to view it, white page & freeze. BUT this is the only app that finds my plant type, gives me care instructions and a watering schedule that I don't have to determine. So much potential to be the perfect house plant care app. Just need to fix the bugs. So I will give it a chance.

Loved it so much until it stopped working. It gets stuck in the Opening screen, so I can't view my tasks for the day anywhere except the push notifications. I need to see details. Afraid to reinstall and lose all my plants info Update: still unable to use the app. Can't delete either because I won't know my plant rotation. Update 11-22: I haven't gotten watering notifications in a few days so I went to check the app, and all of my plants have been deleted.

Crashing all the time After registering my account, instead of letting me log in, it brought me to the same welcome page (to register again). Once I managed to log in properly, I clicked on settings and got a blank page, it crashed and had to force stop. Cannot really say if it is useful because I did not manage to do anything with it.

What’s new

App made functional again for the latest operating systems. Several bugs fixed in the UI.
