Ratings and reviews

Too many ads and it is not possible to navigate in the app while watching something. Playback also stops when opening another app. It's 2025 come on, implement picture in picture. Going back to what you were watching triggers all ads again. Got hit with 8 unskippable ads after just having watched 3 and accidentally navigating away. Ridiculous.

Program stops a lot of times during casting. Specially when the "advertisement" block starts. Then it says on 📺 "ready to cast"

After 40 minutes of watching the app just turns off. When you want to watch the rest of the show you have to first watch 3 ads to even start the video and then a further 9 ads to skip to the part where you were in the first place. This is almost as bad as Viaplay and you definitely don't wanna get compared to those guys.

What’s new

Andere audio- en video-apps pauzeren nu automatisch wanneer je KIJK opent. We hebben veel kleine verbeteringen gedaan op basis van gebruikersfeedback: duidelijkere statuslabels (zoals “over 5 dagen”), juiste afleveringsoverzichten en een zichtbaar Live-label. Bedankt voor het gebruiken van KIJK!
