About this app

Arrange your telephone business accessibility via your mobile. The Speakup App gives you, as a user of our services, access anywhere to the most important settings of your hosted telephony platform. Very handy when you are on the go.
The app offers the following functionality:
- Switch between the number you are calling from via your identities/calling profiles
- Log in and out of queues
- Manage your calling plan through switches
- Set and turn on or off your call forwarding

Under the tab “calling profile” you will find with which identity (outgoing number) you are currently calling when you are logged in with your device on the hosted telephony platform (Compass). Here you can switch between the numbers assigned to your user account, such as your landline number, mobile number or anonymous.

The “queues” tab gives you an overview of queues within your company where you can log out and log in. This way you can also support your colleagues in customer contact while on the road or from home. If you prefer not to be the first to be called when you participate in a queue, you can indicate with which priority you participate when registering. If you want the calls from the registered queue to be forwarded as you indicated for forwarding, select the option 'follow forwarding'.

Under “switches” you can influence the different calling plans within your organization that you have access to. If you only want to see the switches that are relevant to you, mark them as favorites and turn on the “filter on favorites” function.

Call forwarding
Have your incoming call forwarded automatically when you are not reachable or do not want to be reachable? Under the “Forwarding” tab you manage your forwarding. Always forward to your voicemail, contact from your contact list (for this you have to give the app permissions) or another number (for example mobile). Or tell the telephone exchange what to do if you are not reachable or busy. Note: You enable this for all your personal incoming calls. possibly actions below in the calling plan are then skipped.

Other information
The app communicates with your hosted telephony platform (Compass) via the REST and XMPP APIs which are available to every user of our telecommunication platform. No other Speakup services are required for this other than a Speakup user license (Compass ). The app is available free of charge in the Play store (Android).
The app is being built in several phases, as soon as an update is available with additional functionalities, you can update it again free of charge.
