De Stapchallenge turns walking into a team sport.
Your organisation, club or charity sets up a challenge with a route of its own: from Rotterdam to Antwerp, Paris, Lyon and Rome, or wherever you want to go. You log your steps each day. Everything your team walks together adds up, and carries you all a little further across the map.
WHAT YOU DO WITH IT
Logging steps
Fill in your day in a few taps. Forgot? Catch a whole week up at once. Not walking, but cycling, swimming or gardening? Enter the minutes and the app converts them for you.
Walking a route together
Every stop on the route is a milestone your team reaches. See exactly how many steps are still needed, and what there is to discover on arrival.
A feed with life in it
Share how your day went, with a photo from the walk. Your teammates cheer you on and reply. Anyone who sets a personal record or reaches a destination turns up in it by themselves.
Standings
See how your team is doing next to the rest, and how you are doing inside your team.
No password
Enter your email address and you get a six-digit code. That is all there is to it.
SAFE AND DECENT
De Stapchallenge is meant for colleagues, clubs and charities, and we mean to keep it that way. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abuse. Every post and every comment can be reported, or its author blocked. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. Objectionable language is refused before a post goes up.
You delete your account yourself, in the app, permanently.
TAKING PART
You need a challenge from an organiser to take part: a registration code, or an invitation by email. Want to set up a challenge for your own organisation? Have a look at stapchallenge.nl.
NO SENSORS, NO FUSS
The app reads no health data and does not pair with your watch. You enter your steps yourself — exactly as many as you care to share.
Walk a virtual route together with your team. Log your steps, reach every stop.
