Finally! A bicycle route planner that you can completely customize. With the renewed Routeplanner of the Fietsersbond you can make the most beautiful cycling routes throughout the Netherlands. Indicate what you do (and especially don't) want and the app will do the rest.

Every day, hundreds of volunteers visualize the changes in the cycle path network. This makes the Route Planner of the Fietsersbond the most complete bicycle route planner in the Netherlands. This way you always get a tailor-made cycling route, which you can follow from the Routeplanner app.

First of all, choose one of the seven different route types:
- Easy cycling (most used!)
- Nodes
- Racing bike route
- Recreational route
- Nature route
- Shortest route
- Car-free route

In the app you can map out your own cycling route, from any location in the Netherlands. For example, use the bicycle junctions.


The Fietsersbond Routeplanner is a project of the Fietsersbond, the representative of cyclists in the Netherlands. We have been doing this for more than forty-five years because we believe that cycling is good for everything: for the accessibility of cities, for the environment, for your pleasure and for a healthy life. With the support of our 31,000 members, we and more than 1,800 volunteers across the country are working on more, better and safer bike paths.

Fietsersbond, you should do better! Several issues: 1. The red dot where I am is in the top half of the screen: so I see mostly where I have been, not where I am going to. 2. Due to map errors, it gives strange messages like "turn around" when you simply can go straight on. 3. My phone switches off after some time. The app should keep the phone active. 4. When entering a destination, it should order on what is nearby. 5. You can't store locations. 6. And there is much more!

The app plans great routes but the audio for the navigation stops after a few minutes. The display is poor and hard to use while riding. The display really needs work and the big with the audio stopping is problematic. The map update also is very slow often 5 to 10 seconds behind which matters in bike navigation.

You can't easily change the routes. Also it shows you routes which aren't nice.
