About this app
Basic Algebra is a flashcard app for the rules the rest of maths is built on.
Every card shows a problem on the front. Work it out yourself, then flip the card
for the answer, written out step by step, not just the result. When the method
needs more than the steps, an explanation is one tap away.
98 cards across 7 topics:
• Order of operations
• Parentheses
• Exponents
• Fraction
• Percent
• Equations
• Test yourself
READ IT IN YOUR LANGUAGE
The cards are written in English, and the app can translate them into German,
French, Spanish or Portuguese. Translation runs on your own device: download a language pack once, and it keeps working offline afterwards. The maths itself is never touched. Only the words around it are translated, so a formula always reads exactly as it was written.
MATHS THAT LOOKS LIKE MATHS
Fractions, roots and exponents are properly typeset, the way they appear in a
textbook, instead of being squeezed into plain text.
