About this app

Norwegian grocery chains dominate the market. But behind them are hundreds of independent, locally owned food stores with fresher products, a wider selection and often lower prices. They are just a little harder to find. Butta is the app that helps you discover them.

FIND STORES NEAR YOU
See independent food stores near you, sorted by distance. Filter by category – farmers market, butcher, delicatessen, greengrocer, Asian grocery and more – and find exactly what you are looking for.

EXPLORE ON MAP
See all stores as pins on the map. Tap a store to see opening hours, reviews and contact info – and get directions with one tap.

ALWAYS UP TO DATE
See if a store is open right now.

SAVE YOUR FAVORITES
Mark the stores you love and always have them easily accessible.

BUILDING THE COMMUNITY
Do you know of an independent food store that is missing from the app? Submit it and help others discover it.
Butta is for those of you who want to shop differently. For those of you who want to support local entrepreneurs over big chains. For those of you who want to know what's actually in your neighborhood.
Download Butta. Find your local favorite.
