Roadme works out what a drive actually costs — fuel, tolls and ferries — before you set off.

Enter where you are going: an address, a town, a ferry quay, or a spot you point at on the map. Roadme builds the route, finds every toll point and crossing on it, and prices them for your vehicle. One number, and you can open it to see where every krone, krona and euro goes.

FOUR COUNTRIES, ONE JOURNEY
Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland. Cross a border and each stretch is priced where it is driven — that country's own pump price, its own tolls, its own ferry rules. Under the fuel line you see it country by country: the kilometres driven there, what the fuel cost, and the price per litre in that country's money. Change a price and the whole drive re-prices as you type.

• Ferries: the AutoPASS tariff in Norway, free on the state road ferries in Sweden and Finland, and where no fare is published, the operator and the booking
• Toll points one at a time, each with the project it belongs to
• Congestion tax in Stockholm and Gothenburg, and the bridges in Sweden and Denmark
• Fuel, from official pump prices and your own consumption

STOPS IN THE CHEAPEST ORDER
Add up to fifty stops and Roadme works out the order that costs least — not the shortest line on a map, but the cheapest way around all of them once tolls and ferries are counted.

YOUR VEHICLE, ONCE
Car, camper, with caravan or motorcycle — set up once and remembered. Type in a Norwegian registration number and length, weight and fuel type come from the vehicle register, so the ferry class is right without measuring. The number is used for that lookup and cleared straight away.

FERRIES, PROPERLY
Every crossing shows the next departures from its own timetable, how long you would wait, and whether sailings are cancelled. If a crossing is out, Roadme builds the drive around it and says what the detour costs.

LEAVING LATER
Pick a day and a time and the prices follow. Rush-hour toll rates on a weekday morning are not Sunday rates, and Roadme prices the hour you actually travel.

COMPARE THE ROADS
There is usually more than one way. Roadme shows them side by side — cost, time and what you save — so you choose with your eyes open.

ELECTRIC
Choose electric and the stops become fast chargers instead of filling stations — 50 kW and above only.

ROADS AS THEY ARE
Closures and roadworks from the road authorities in Norway, Sweden and Finland are read into the route, and a closed road is driven around, not shown as a warning you have to notice.

DRIVING IT
Open the route in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze — or use our navigator: it follows you, speaks the turns, shows the speed limit, says when a border is coming and keeps the screen awake.

Every figure as published, with a link to its source.
