Firda Tidend was first published in July 1924. The newspaper has gone from being a fighting organ for the peasant movement to becoming a local newspaper for Gloppen and Jølster. Today, we publish continuously online, and come as a paper newspaper twice a week - Tuesday and Friday. From 2018, all employees were gathered in Skarsteinhuset in the center of Sandane in Nordstrandsvegen, and in 2022 we established an office in Skei. In addition to being close to the news, we want to follow business, politics, upbringing, sport and culture in a thorough way. Debate is also important, and reader letters have a natural place in our columns.
