About this app

Lass is a Norwegian freight marketplace — no terminals, no reloading. Your load is picked up where it is and delivered where it needs to go, by a driver who is already driving that route. Lass is currently open in Eastern Norway: Oslo, Akershus and Østfold. We open new routes one by one.

HOW TO BOOK
- Take a photo, or describe what needs to go — "two moving boxes and a dresser". The app works out the number of items, dimensions and weight, and asks only when it needs to know more. Photos are optional.
- See everything before you book: every item with dimensions and weight, plus a short note to the driver that you can edit. Correct the numbers if you know better.
- You get a suggested price based on distance and size. You set the price — fixed, or let drivers make offers.
- Pickup and delivery with access info (ground floor, lift, stairs), so the driver knows what to expect.
- Payment is held securely by Stripe and charged only when the load is picked up.
- Follow the driver live on the map, with an honest arrival time.
- Pickup and delivery are confirmed with a code or a photo.
- Chat directly with the driver the whole way.

SHIP OFTEN?
Addresses and contacts you have used are remembered as "My places" — one tap fills everything next time. "Order again" and "Order return" create a new shipment from a previous one, with the ends swapped for returns. Businesses can book on behalf of customers and be invoiced as a company.

VEHICLES
Cars and trailers can be booked by registration number — weight and dimensions are fetched from the Norwegian vehicle registry. Tell us whether the car drives, rolls or needs a winch.

FOR DRIVERS
Driving a route anyway? Take a load along and get paid for the kilometres you already drive. See what you keep after fuel and tolls before accepting. Route plan, navigation, pickup and delivery — all in one app. You can also use Lass for your own private jobs, free.

SAFETY
- The contract is between you and the driver — Lass holds the money until the job is done
- All users are verified with Vipps (BankID)
- Ratings, reporting and blocking built in

Available in Norwegian, English, Polish, Lithuanian, Romanian and Ukrainian.

Lass is open in Oslo, Akershus and Østfold today. Outside the area you can join the waiting list in the app, and we will let you know when we open near you.

What’s new

Drivers: your route is now planned smarter – pickups before deliveries, time windows and load are taken into account, and you'll see if you're running early. Messages and photos load much faster, and you can open photos full screen and swipe between them. Your phone number and address from Vipps now land correctly in your profile. You're told right away if an address is outside the area we cover. Several small fixes.
