PocketCoach helps football coaches design effective and tailored training sessions. Exercises are automatically adapted based on the team’s age, gender, and number of weekly sessions – allowing you to spend your time on what matters most: your players. Our exercises and training programs are carefully developed and selected by UEFA-licensed coaches and players.
Our exercise and training program has been developed in close collaboration with both grassroots and elite clubs in Norway, and is based on the Norwegian Football Federation’s guidelines for player development. The program is designed to give coaches a solid and professionally grounded framework, with exercises and sessions that have been tested and quality-assured in real training environments. This gives you, as a coach, access to a well-developed, modern, and methodical program that supports learning, mastery, and development – regardless of the team’s level or age group.
In addition to training sessions, you can also plan and manage matches using our match assistant. Here you can set up and share lineups, manage substitutions, track playing time, and register goals, assists, and cards.
We also offer video courses tailored for grassroots football coaches, where you can learn effective approaches to the coaching role – from overarching principles to more specific topics such as parent communication and player differentiation.
To make everyday coaching easier, players or parents can confirm whether they will attend training, and you can send reminders if they haven’t responded. This helps you know how many players will attend, and PocketCoach can suggest the most suitable exercises based on the number. With PocketCoach, players can also see what the training session will include so they can arrive well prepared.
Each team gets its own team chat, in addition to a separate admin chat for the coaching staff.
At PocketCoach, we also believe that players who want to maximize their potential should practice between training sessions. That’s why we have created a library of exercises that players can do alone or together with others.
