About this app

Do you want to stop using cannabis or reduce your use? Do you have questions about cannabis?

This app is intended as an aid for you who want to stop, reduce or take a break from your use of cannabis. In addition, it has a whole module with information that may be useful for those of you who only use cannabis occasionally.

Based on the Hasjavvenningsprogramme (HAP), the app provides daily valuable knowledge, reminders, encouragement and overviews that can help make the quitting process easier.

You are completely anonymous when using this app.

You can use the app at the same time as you participate in a smoking cessation program, or as a tool if you are trying to quit on your own.

The app wants to appear neutral and non-moralizing. If you have suggestions for improvements, please contact RUSinfo at http://www.rusinfo.no/

The app offers:

• Trigger diary – By recording triggers, it can be easier for you to understand what triggers you to use and what makes you able to abstain
• Withdrawal graph - overview of where you are in the final phase and what you can expect from withdrawal/discomfort
• Achievements tab – achieved milestones by quitting
• Information - general information about cannabis, what to expect when you quit, common withdrawal symptoms, how the brain is affected, tips and advice and general guidance.
• Module with facts about cannabis that can be useful if you only use occasionally
• Price calculator - overview of how much money you save daily by quitting
• Timer - overview of how long you have been without cannabis
• Daily theme; motivational and reflective themes.
• Diary

You can find more detailed information about and user instructions for the app on RUSinfo's website http://www.rusinfo.no/

The app has been developed on behalf of RUSinfo, in collaboration with specialist consultants at the Outdoor Section in Oslo who work with the weaning program. This app is based on an app that was originally developed by students at Westerdal's Oslo ACT.
