About this game

Numo is a free collection of logic games built around one idea: you should never have to take a hint on faith.

This is the first release, and it ships with Sudoku. More games are on the way, and they will all follow the same philosophy: no magic answers, no "trust me". Every hint can be opened up and walked through, one step at a time, until you see the logic for yourself. If you don't believe a deduction, tap "Prove it" and watch the reasoning unfold on the board.

SUDOKU, DONE PROPERLY
Numo knows the actual techniques used by strong solvers: Naked and Hidden Singles, Locked Candidates, Pairs, Triples and Quads, X-Wings, Swordfish, Skyscrapers, XY-Wings, Unique Rectangles, coloring, chains and more. Hints always show you the easiest available technique first, so you learn in the right order.

TRAINING MODE
Want to get better at a specific technique? Training mode drops you into real board positions where that technique is the way forward. Practice until it clicks.

PLAY YOUR WAY
- Five difficulty levels, from relaxed to genuinely hard
- Smart pencil marks that update as you place digits
- Fast fill mode: pick a digit, then tap cells
- Mistake checking you can adjust, from silent to strict
- Gradual hints that name the technique before giving anything away

TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Local best times per difficulty, plus statistics showing which techniques you use and which ones you have trained.

SHARE ANY BOARD
Every puzzle has a seed. Enter a seed to replay the exact same board, or send it to a friend and compare times.
