The app "Or for you who don't find words" helps you with the lack of words. Finally.
It's weird about that. Something is needed to portray exactly what you want to convey; an experience, a feeling, a smell, a taste, an event, a thing. It is so familiar in many ways, so obvious. And then you still stand there and stutter: "...but, so... Ah, you understand what I mean!" - and lash out helplessly with his arms.
There can be no doubt: I am at a loss for words.
But not now anymore!
With "Or for you who can't find words" you finally get words for all these experiences, feelings and things. Like for example. "The brilliant idea that comes just before you fall asleep, but is completely gone when you wake up."
Yes, just look it up. Here you get a nice, simple word that you can take with you into your everyday life.
- And in your city! Because the words (cause, ora) you find here actually already exist! They dust down in the fields and die out with old people. They hang on signs, pointing to auspicious places, small and large, or they circulate in the vernacular. From vernacular to vernacular.
We think it's a shame that great words like "momoen", "gjæslingan", "shoklefall" and "nosoddtangen" should lose the opportunity to reach further than just their sign. So with this project they throw me into the language again in a gigantic rescue project. Away with dust! Everyone deserves a second chance!
And I promise you that: they will do much more good for you than all kinds of Valium words like 'synergy', 'function' and 'process'.
