About this app

Kriskoll collects official crisis information from Swedish authorities in one app, so you can quickly get an overview of what is happening in your area and in the country.

IMPORTANT: Kriskoll is a standalone app. The app does not represent, and is not operated by, MSB, SMHI, the Police, the Swedish Transport Administration or any other authority. All
information is retrieved unchanged from the authorities' open, public sources.

- Real-time crisis flow — News and VMA (Important message to the public)
directly from Krisinformation.se. Updated every minute.
- Weather warnings from SMHI — Official warnings for wind, rain, snow, ice,
forest fire risk and high temperatures, with clear levels.
- Shelters — Find the nearest shelter from MSB's register based on your location.
- Traffic disruptions — Current road disruptions via the Swedish Transport Administration: accidents,
roadworks and closures.
- Police events — Latest events from polisen.se, filtered by region.
- Map — All ongoing events and shelters collected on one map.
- Preparedness — Checklists and advice from MSB for crises and heightened preparedness.
- Push notifications — Get notified when VMA is issued or when severe weather warnings
affect your municipality. You choose which types you want to subscribe to.
- Location-based — All location data stays locally on the device.
- No account, no login — Use the app directly and completely anonymously.
