This app is only available for use by members of Fire and Emergency New Zealand.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand has identified the need for accurate, real-time information about the availability of volunteers to respond to fires and emergencies. We also need to know who is responding to a request to attend an incident so we can ensure we have the right people in the right place at the right time.

AMS uses your device location in the background to enable tracking your location when responding to an incident, and determining if you are leaving your station's immediate response area, even when the app is closed or not in use. You can disallow or disable this option at any time through the status tab in the AMS app.

Doesn't always change status when leaving or entering callout areas. Can be tricky when you're in 2 brigades. Need to always check when you're in the area

Its a great base platform but heres my 2 cents.... Need to be able to change things when a job is already active! Availability status, responding or not, appliance you are assigned to etc. Touch the wrong option and you're stuck with it. Why no job history page on the mobile version? An 2nd alert to all, say, drivers, if there are no drivers responding etc. Also would love an audio description of the job and who is responding so i can just respond without looking at the phone. Overall good app.

I'm not sure who to speak to regarding feed back regarding AMS but here goes: An option to change the volume settings or that AMS detects if the phone is connected to headphones, seriously, it blasts my ear drums. On this topic option to change the alert notice to what ever custom sound we would like. A couple of defaults are all good, but if I must have my ears bleed I would prefer it be to the Benny Hill theme. On hitting "standby" an option to toggle back to "Responding".
