About this app

Kia ora Auckland, It’s us, your water provider. It only took till 2023, but we’ve caved in, moved with the times and got an app. Why? To make life a tad easier for you and your whānau when it comes to viewing your water use and paying a bill.

If you’ve got a single use water meter at home - sorry, shared meter peeps, you don’t qualify this time around – you can tap into your water use without waiting for a bill. And no matter if your meter is a mechanical version or a new smarty-pants one, everyone can make one-off payments right here, right now!

If you’re lucky enough to have a smart meter, you’ll get the most out of this wee app. There’s basically more features than you can shake a stick at. Check it out:

Ratings and reviews

Not really worth it apart from a place to view previous invoices. The live chat tool doesn't use any of your account details so you have to write down your account number before going into the app and type all your details again. When I finally got it to work they just disconnected me from the chat so I had to call them instead. Now I have been told that all EDMI smart meters have been turned off. So you can't see your daily usage anymore, making the app virtually useless.

It works but needs a lot of work. 1. Keeps needing me to login every time I open it up after a while. 2. There is no storage for credit card details or auto-paymebt on the app. 3. Google Pay gives an error. 4. After payment it does not refresh. It keeps showing the bill is due.

everything seems fine until you want to chat with them. You can see how many people are in the queue but when it comes to you, there is no way to write so they end up hanging up as you can't reply to them.
