Our NEW Alerting App is not only a first for NZ but a global first! The ability to bring your local weather forecast to life. Get fewer nasty surprises by having your forecast alert you when certain criteria is met. What criteria? You choose! Our alerting app is all about helping your small business, farm, orchard, or just help you better plan any event outdoors. And we're only just getting started! Phase 1 is to bring your forecast to life (the new app we have now). Phase 2, with your support, will allow us to bring in real time rain radar and lightning alerts.

Ratings and reviews

I like the new app, more information is always good. I still prefer to look at the rain radar in rural weather. I'd upgrade to 5 stars if the rain radar started at the beginning of the hour not the end, and if it transitioned between pictures cleanly. Currently the transitions flash white in-between making it hard to follow the subtle incremental changes in each rain radar picture. Also the soil moisture graphics aren't updating, mine still show data from the 31st December.

Average so far..ditto re the annoying message tell to download. Preferred the old app but will persevere in the hope it gets better. The Radar picture does not auto "rewind" and play on loop like the old version, so you need to manually rewind to see where rain is heading. Please fix.

Sorry guys, but a very average new app. 1. More than 1 saved location is pro only 2. Will not show 9 day forecast which, is a basic function.(Upgraded to 3 stars as now working). 3. Keeps showing me located in Blockhouse Bay when at Waiomu! (Auto locate) Have uninstalled/reinstalled, restarted phone etc hoping this is just a 'blockage' to be cleared to no avail. Makes no difference whether I am signed in or just a guest. Such a shame as I have been one of your supporters from early on.
