The new Mouse trap did its thing first night, but I feel Bluetooth connectivity is pointless. WiFi would be far more useful for the distance monitoring. If I have to be within 10m for Bluetooth to connect, I might as well just walk the extra 10m and look straight at the trap instead. Also, Bluetooth initially would not connect. Took about a dozen tries to get it to work. So, 5 stars for trap less 3 for pointless Bluetooth.

Doesn't work at all. Won't connect to trap and keeps crashing. I wonder if it's not a US app and that's why it won't work? update May 2025-Is Version 3.2.0 the updated Version? When the app kept crashing I deleted it because it was driving me nuts, but the trap lost its mind and I couldn't get it to remain "set" after I charged it. Figured I had to try the app again and Found the note about the bug fix. I seem to have connected to the trap and did a test fire, we'll see if it works. ...

still can't get the trap to stay connected long enough to update the firmware.. big disappointment Got the new mouse trap today... won't connect to Bluetooth... Trap is charged, blue light flashes, I'm less than a foot from the device, Bluetooth on my phone is on and scanning... I've tried five times... Refuses to connect... useless. And it sounds like it doesn't work for anybody based on all the other reviews... that's disappointing... I wish I had read these reviews before I bought the trap.
