UPDATE - After messing around I was able to get it to work. It is a valid app! Garbage app. Does not pair or work with my bluetooth OBD2 reader. Other app (Torque Pro) works fine. Tried using this to read ABS light

Absolute rubbish! I had two abs lights on my car and this rubbish couldn't find them? It even said the car had no faults at all??? Total rubbish, avoid!

Works with the cross but no a D4D hilux. Ugh. Bought the iCar Pro as someone gave a very positive review of the Vgate but no joy.
