Started promising but it's basically useless. I've given up on using it as it always thinks the door is closed and light has been pending for the last month. Resetting does nothing apart from make more work for yourself. Stick to using the console to set your coop door and light settings for now. I'll check again in the future to see if they've improved the app

I don't use the app much, beyond notifications but having it facilitates the Home Assistant automations I have. I've been able to not only manually control the door and light as expected, but I've also created dynamic coding which keeps the coop light on after dark long enough to give my chickens enough light to support continued egg laying in the winter months.

It only connects with the server every so often. So, if you want to open the door, you'll be waiting for the device to connect to ther server. (Minimum 10 minutes)
