About this app

OneVision Signage is a digital menu board and always-on signage kiosk for restaurants — running on Fire TV, Android TV, and Google TV devices behind the counter.

Once installed and paired to a screen slot in the OneVision operator console, the app boots straight into fullscreen menu-board mode with no browser chrome, no home button, and no idle timeout. Staff never have to touch a remote — the TV powers on, the app launches, and the current menu board appears. Menu updates published from the operator console propagate to every paired screen within seconds, so a price change or a swapped combo never means walking around the store with a USB stick.

WHAT IT DOES

- Fullscreen kiosk mode: locks to a single screen slot, no browser UI, no exit gestures.
- Auto-launch on boot (Fire TV / Android TV): pair once, forget forever.
- Auto-recovers from wifi drops and power cycles: reconnects and reloads the current menu without staff intervention.
- Offline cache: last-known-good menu keeps displaying if the internet briefly drops.
- Portrait or landscape: configurable per screen slot to fit column-style menus above the counter or wide beverage/promo boards.
- Staff-free operation: no login prompts, no ads, no notifications.

WHO IT'S FOR

This app is for restaurants that use the OneVision signage platform. It is installed on restaurant-owned display hardware and paired to a screen slot in the operator console. HOW IT WORKS

The APK is a thin WebView wrapper. It loads the OneVision Signage web player fullscreen, injects a device identity so the operator console can pair it to a specific screen slot, and enforces kiosk-mode behaviour (no chrome, wake-lock, auto-reload on stall). All menu content, layout, pricing, and imagery is served from OneVision's first-party infrastructure — the APK itself carries no menu data.

WHAT IT DOESN'T DO

- No accounts, no signup, no personal data collection.
- No ads, ever.
- No location tracking by the APK.
- No third-party analytics.
- Not a consumer app: end diners never interact with it directly.
