About this app

ID Caller — anonymous audio and video calls with no phone number, email, or sign-up. True anonymous calling over the internet: no accounts, no SIM card, no personal data — just a 12-digit ID.

CALLS WITHOUT A PHONE NUMBER
On first launch the app generates a key pair and your ID right on the device. That is your entire "account": calling without registration works instantly — no number, no email, no SIM required. Internet calls work over Wi-Fi or mobile data.

MUTUAL CONSENT ONLY
Show a QR code, share a one-time code (valid for 30 minutes), or confirm a request by ID. Only someone you have exchanged a code with can call you — spam and unwanted calls are ruled out by the linking model itself. An anonymous call stays anonymous: the other person sees only your ID and the name you chose to share.

ENCRYPTED CALLS
• Private one-on-one calls go directly between devices (P2P, WebRTC) and are always encrypted (DTLS-SRTP) — secure calls with no middleman server.
• If a direct connection is impossible, encrypted traffic goes through a TURN relay that has no access to the content of the call.
• Encryption cannot be turned off — protected calls work always, with zero setup.

HONEST PRIVACY
• Contact names and call history are stored only on your device.
• The server keeps only pseudonymous data: ID, public key, push token, and links between IDs.
• No call recording: call content never passes through the server unencrypted.
• Deleting your ID is physical: links and tokens are immediately wiped from the server.

What’s new

Smarter call audio: wired and Bluetooth headsets are picked up instantly, and when you disconnect them a video call returns to the speaker on its own. The speaker button always shows where the sound is going. Background incoming calls are more reliable: even if your phone has put the app to sleep, you'll still hear the ring. Plus a background-settings hint for more phone models.
