Why does PPPIX use the Accessibility Service?

PPPIX uses the Android Accessibility Service exclusively to detect when you open your bank's app or the app protected by PPPIX, displaying a password protection screen before access. This permission is essential for the app's main security function: protecting access to sensitive applications and allowing the triggering of a discreet emergency alert in case of coercion, without the aggressor noticing. PPPIX does not read, collect, or share the content of other applications — it only identifies which app is in the foreground to trigger the lock screen.
