Ratings and reviews

Simple and easy to use. It's nice to see this app develop and implement feedback over the years since I first installed it in 2021. It would be cool if there is a widget in the future to quickly make an entry without having to unlock the pin. Minor issues: - When you add a new entry, the keyboard doesn't pop up automatically and requires you to click on a text field. It would be better to have it immediately be typable on the body for ease-of-use if you want people to open this app often.

Loved the app! It's features are simple and perfect for a journal but it stopped working recently. I loved the app and stored so much writings but the app isn't working now and says to login again or sign in but when i did that, it crashes goes back to my homepage, please fix it! I have so much things stored in, hoping for it to get fixed.

Normally I would rate this App 5 stars but at present I have lost all my entries on my Samsung Galaxy S24plus phone from November 2024. It happened when I went to open the Purple Diary on December 11 2025. Nothing, all the entries have disappear. Luke has replied to me and it's all good now. a stupid error on my part. I love this App. it has everything I need. I love the way you can bold & highlight the text. this diary contains the story of my life. definitely a 5 star app. love it. 👌👍😁
