Sometimes it adds a different item. For example, I was scanning a camembert and it added some flax seeds instead. Then I had to go to search the store for the seeds to remove them. Other times if I am scanning a new item close to other items in my shopping cart, then it adds an already scanned item second time instead of the new one.

I don't know who came up with requirement to scan item in order to be able to delete it, but it is pure stupidity. Loss of time without any reasoning. Imagine you put the item back in the shelve and realise you forgot to remove it... Hurray, let's go back to the shelve. Furthermore, I spend time by scanning each item and every time a cashier needs to check my order -> using self checkout ultimately loses so much time that I have decided to not use it again.

Web payment makes the app practically pointless. It takes me longer to pay and perform 2 factor authentication over SMS than it takes to do my entire shopping. Give it a proper Google Pay integration! Update: Still useless. Attempting to pay: "cannot retrieve payment information". OK, let's try Google Pay: "card not accepted here". Mind you this is the card I'm using when paying at the counter. And it works perfectly fine in other apps. It is still faster to wait in line and pay at the counter.
