About this app

Tomate is a Pomodoro timer with your to-do list already inside it. Start a session, attach a task, and the minutes you focus fill that task's own progress — until it completes itself.

POMODORO FIRST
A focus timer that does the classic 25-and-5, with session lengths, sounds and auto-start under your control. Everything else in Tomate exists to feed it.

ATTACH A TASK IN ONE TAP
Every task on your list carries a Focus button. Tap it and the timer starts on that task. No menus, no setup, no juggling two apps — and every minute you focus lands on the task you picked.

FLOW: WORK WITHOUT A CLOCK
Not everything fits in 25 minutes. Switch to Flow and the timer counts up instead of down — focus for as long as the work lasts, then stop when you're done. Every minute still counts towards your task.

A REAL TASK LIST, NOT AN AFTERTHOUGHT
Repeat tasks daily, weekly, on weekdays, or a set number of times per week. Give a task a time of day and get reminded when its window opens. Count what needs counting — glasses of water, pages, reps. Swipe to finish, or say "won't do today" and skip a day without breaking the habit.

NOTHING SLIPS THROUGH
Unfinished tasks stay on your list with a badge counting the days they've been waiting. Pin what matters most and it stays at the top, exempt from the daily reset. One short daily brief leads with whatever is genuinely urgent, and stays quiet when nothing is.

STATS AND STREAKS
See every minute you focused: daily charts, a calendar heatmap, your best focus hour and a session streak. Every repeating task keeps a streak of its own, so a habit you built doesn't get buried in one global number.

BLOCK DISTRACTING APPS
Turn on app blocking and distracting apps stay locked while you focus. Calls still get through.

WORKS FROM YOUR POCKET
A home-screen widget starts a focus session without opening the app. A persistent notification keeps the timer visible. Do Not Disturb turns on automatically during sessions.

NO SETUP. NO NAGGING.
Open the app, add a task, press start. No account, no tutorial maze, no popups begging you to upgrade. Free to focus — premium only if you love it.

MAKE IT YOURS
Session lengths, sounds, auto-start, themes, dark mode. Available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Polish, Chinese and Japanese.
Pomodoro focus timer + task list in one. Attach a task and watch it complete.

What’s new

Tomate 3.11.0

• Fixed: scheduled notifications were never armed at all — briefs, reminders, nudges. That was the real cause behind the delivery problems
• Fixed: reminders no longer disappear after a reboot or an app update
• Focus on a task and the timer runs what that task has left, not the default length
• The running session's notification now shows a progress bar (Android 16+)
• Fixed: "Do it again" no longer erases a task's history
